Cameron Highlands District Council is responsible for providing services to the community through the following efforts:

Ensure rational and dynamic developments through planning and development controls that preserve the quality of the environment;

Provide infrastructure, public and recreational facilities for visitors comfort and community well-being;

Promote growth and development of the housing, business and tourism sector as a catalyst of development towards the objective of transforming Cameron Highlands into a highland resort area recognised as among the best in the state of Pahang and Malaysia;

Exploit the natural bounty of various tourism resources available such as the hills, forest reserves, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and other natural heritage and local culture to attract tourists.
